ACDC Lighting Systems are designers and manufacturers of specialist cold cathode and LED lighting systems. Cold Cathode is the preferred solution for the illumination of coffered ceilings and recesses, while their LED products are based around the latest in LED technology, designed to create lighting effects never previously conceivable. The ACDC Cold Cathode approach is to offer fully modular solutions, which are often as easy to specify as many off the shelf products. The aim is to remove much of the ‘black art’ traditionally associated with cold cathode by presenting clear and concise product specifications, to enable straightforward design of the cold cathode lighting solutions.

The ACDC LED product portfolio includes shallow ceiling recessed downlights, powerful yet minimalist decorative fittings, in ground wall wash fittings, and compact spot lights, all for use in interior and exterior applications and now offering efficacies of 81 lumens per watt. The innovation does not stop however with the luminaires themselves, a whole range of driver solutions are now available including 0-10V, Mains and DMX dimmable options.

Offering innovative Cold Cathode and LED solutions to some of the world’s top architects and designers in a myriad of applications including, hotels, bars, restaurants, swimming pools, shopping centres, retail outlets, building facades and high spec residential projects, the company delivers an outstanding range of products backed up by excellent customer support.

Further promise has been given by the company to lead the future in lighting design through the recent acquisition of a state of the art premise, which boasts over 30,000 sq.ft of manufacturing space, state of the art facilities and interior design to rival that of the larger corporations. The new ACDC headquarters certainly seem to be providing an illuminating experience for the people of Barrowford and the surrounding areas. In fact, the new premises have quite literally become a major talking point in the area, thanks to some pretty impressive exterior lighting design.
