Ecolume

Ecolume is a range of LED general Lighting products that utilises the latest in Osram LED technology. The focus of Ecolume is to meet and exceed the lighting requirements for the general lighting market using LED technology. Ecolume products are designed with a holistic approach, their designers focus not just on the LED efficiency but also on the LED driver and optical efficiencies and thermal management of the LED light source. This is then coupled into the specially designed housing to complete the LED general lighting solution. With this commitment in each area of the design it is understandable that Ecolume products have developed into very energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting solutions.

Always pushing the boundaries of efficiency in design and use, the latest release in the Ecolume range is the DL Series of down lights, which provide the perfect replacement for power hungry 50 watt halogen down lights. The DL series operates on only 15 watts of power resulting in substantially less power costs and green house gas emissions. With an operational life of 50,000 hours and virtually no ongoing maintenance costs our long life Ecolume products utilise tomorrows lighting technology to bring you cost and environmental savings today. Additional features of the DL series are that no heat is reflected into the illuminated area, making yet another saving in HVAC costs. The negligible heat generated is vented through the custom designed heat sink and is dissipated into the ceiling cavity. Also with no Ultraviolet light emitted the DL series down lights can significantly reduce the attraction of insects to the light source.
