WE-EF’s 5CE Corrosion Protection System
WE-EF's 5CE+Primer system is the engineering standard that makes the 10-year warranty possible.
1. Substrate
Ultra Low copper content (<0.1%) aluminium alloy is used for all WE-EF luminaires. >90% authentic, refined, recycled aluminium.
2. Conversion coating
Multi pre-treatment and corrosion coating remove grease, deoxidize, and etching
3. Powder coating
UV-stabilised polyester powder, oven cured at 200°C.
4. PCS Hardware
Austenitic stainless steel, polymer coated with a non-metallic barrier. Prevents galvanic corrosion at the fastener level.
5. Process control
Quality checks on every finished part, including salt spray exposure testing up to 3,000 hours.

Paint finish
Parts and all electrical components
Labour, covered in full for the first 13 months post supply, then by negotiation
LED performance: L70 or better across the full warranty period – a maintenance-free luminaire for at least 10 years
Labour coverage for the first 13 months, with no questions asked, is not standard in this market. It is worth asking your other suppliers what their warranty actually includes.
